In 2023, ScottAsia invited Singapore-based You Tube influencer Ben Ran Away (110K subscribers) to stay at Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor. The video to date has over 26K views with many You Tube viewers saying they had chosen this Staybridge based on this Ben Ran Away recommendation. Watch the video here

Great results from media trips by ScottAsia


In mid 2023, ScottAsia created and joined a media trip with journalists from UK, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok visiting three Outrigger properties in southern Thailand. As an example, on the left is the  resulting story in the Straits Times by the paper's former food correspondent, Ah Yoke Wong.

Reeling in the Instagram hits


In mid 2023, ScottAsia recommended that Hong Kong influencer Nam Cheah of Laugh Travel Eat, which has 30k followers on Instagram, visit the new Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit. Nam delivered a wonderful Instagram reel highlighting both the property and the nearby attractions. Just right for the Hong Kong market.

Ken at ScottAsia took a lead role in preparing and submitting Cardamom Tented Camp in the globally acclaimed World Travel & Tourism Council’s Tourism for Tomorrow Awards in the Changemakers Award category, 2019. ScottAsia arranged for Scottish Sun journalist Mark Sweeney and his wife Elaine to experience the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort. Great coverage for the hotel in print and online ensued in February 2017 worth around £12,000.

In 2015, ScottAsia and Outrigger worked with Woman magazine and arranged for Woman's fashion editor Paula Moore to honeymoon at the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort. Top coverage ensued worth around £15,000.
